Down Payment Assistance

Kentucky Heartland Outreach offers down payment assistance to families that qualify. Down payment assistance is a forgive-able loan. That means that over a set time period(usually three years) the recipient will not have to pay it back.

Example:

KHO has a house listed at $98,500.00

The Smith Family cannot afford a down payment on the home.

The Smith Familiy Qualifies for a $8500.00 Down Payment Assistance.

The Smith Family only has to pay for $90,000.00 using banks, mortgages companies, etc.  After owning the home for three years the Smith family's $8500.00 Down Payment Assistance Loan will be forgiven-meaning they do not have to pay it back.
