How Can it be Free?

Kentucky Heartland Outreach is able to provide free home repairs to qualified applicants

through the following process:

1.  KHO receives funding from the Kentucky Housing Corporation to assist families who qualifyfor this program.  The funds they provide is used soley for the construction costs for these projects.

2.  KHO receives funding from organizations, businesses, and foundations to help cover construction and non-construction costs.  Some of examples of these supporters are

Campbellsville University, Pro Services Inc., and many other great organizations.

3.  KHO recruits/coordinates over 700 volunteers a year to come into central Kentucky.  These volunteers donate their time and talents to enable KHO to offer these repairs at zero cost to the homeowner.
