Kentucky Heartland Outreach provides safe, warm, and dry homes to homeowners who cannot afford to make much needed home repairs. KHO searches for low-income residents in Central Kentucky and provides them with home repairs at no cost to the homeowner. KHO performs a wide variety of rehabilitation work including but not limited to roofing, painting, vinyl siding, and the building of decks, porches, wheelchair ramps and handrails.   KHO finds grants to purchase materials, and coordinates volunteers from all across the country to provide the labor.

KHO also has several programs that assist individuals and families in buying a new home.
